La crise sanitaire du Covid-19 nous a obligé à revoir l’organisation du projet Happy EU. Afin de continuer les dialogues, nous avons tout d’abord mis en place des réunions individuelles avec les villes participantes par Zoom. Puisque le projet a avancé, les réunions peuvent se faire entre plusieurs partenaires.
Le 08 juillet 2021, la Maison de l’Europe de Paris, représentée par Ursula, Monica, Armel et Sarah, a discuté avec Otilia et Luciana, représentantes de la ville de Bacău, Jaime, représentant de la ville de Cuba et Christine, représentante de la ville de Vincennes et Chargée des Relations Internationales à la Mairie de Vincennes.
Cette réunion a été l’occasion de faire un point sur l’avancée du projet et sur l’organisation de l’exposition chez les partenaires du projet Happy EU.
Jaime attend des nouvelles de la Mairie pour l’exposition de Cuba car des nouvelles élections sont à venir et les projets sont mis en pause. Il faut être prudent pour le voyage des partenaires car la situation COVID reste incertaine. L’événement aura lieu début septembre. Jaime contactera Ursula fin août pour dire si l’exposition et le voyage peuvent se faire. Si le voyage ne peut pas se faire, l’exposition se tiendra sans les partenaires.
Cuba et Paris se contactent fin août pour communiquer les dernières informations à ce propos. Pour faciliter les échanges, un groupe WhatsApp est créé.
Puisque l’exposition de Cuba aura lieu début septembre, il faut que les panneaux soient prêts. Ursula rappelle qu’il faut envoyer la taille et le lieu (dedans/dehors) à Sabine.
Pour l’exposition de Bacau, il n’y a pas de nouvelle pour l’instant à cause des fermetures d’été. Il est possible d’avoir des informations en automne. Une fois qu’elle les aura, elle les communiquera à Sabine.
Concernant Vincennes, l’exposition a déjà eu lieu mais il est possible d’accueillir les partenaires lors d’un voyage. Mi-septembre, il y a un festival culturel, sinon il y aura plus d’opportunités en octobre et en novembre. Lors du voyage français, une visite de l’ambassade portugaise et de la Mairie de Paris sera organisée.
Il n’y a toujours pas de réponse de la part de la Commission concernant un rallongement du projet.
Pour l’instant, les partenaires doivent attendre plus d’informations de Cuba pour un possible voyage pour l’exposition qui aura lieu du 4 au 10 septembre. Concernant les dates des voyages, il y aura une flexibilité. Tous les partenaires ne sont pas obligés de rester toute la semaine.

Covid-19 health crisis forced us to review the organisation of the Happy EU project. Since the project has progressed, meetings can be held with several partners.
On 08 July 2021, la Maison de l’Europe de Paris, represented by Ursula, Monica, Armel and Sarah discussed with Otilia and Luciana, representative of the city of Bacau and Jaime, partner of the city of Cuba and Christine, representative of the city of Vincennes and in charge of International Relations at the City Hall of Vincennes.
This meeting was an opportunity to review the state of progress in the project and the organisation of the exhibition among Happy EU project partners.
Jaime is waiting for news from the City Hall about the Cuba exhibition because new elections are coming up and the projects have been put on hold. We have to be careful about the partners’ trip because the COVID situation remains uncertain. The event will take place in early September. Jaime will contact Ursula at the end of August in order to say if the exhibition and the trip can be done. If the trip cannot be organized, the exhibition will be carried out without the partners.
Cuba and Paris will contact each other at the end of August to communicate the latest information. In order to facilitate the exchange, a WhatsApp group is created.
Since the exhibition in Cuba will take place at the beginning of September, the panels must be ready. Ursula reminds everyone to send the size and location (inside/outside) to Sabine.
For the Bacau exhibition, there is no news for the moment because of the summer closures. It is possible to have information during the fall. Once she knows more about it, she will communicate it to Sabine.
Concerning Vincennes, the exhibition has already taken place but it is possible to welcome the partners during a trip. In mid-September, there is a cultural festival, otherwise there will be more opportunities in October and November. During the French trip, a visit to the Portuguese Embassy and the Paris City Hall will be organized.
There is still no answer from the Commission regarding an extension of the project.
For the moment, the partners have to wait for more informations from Cuba for a possible trip for its exhibition which will take place from September 4 to 10. Concerning the dates of the trips, there will be flexibility. Not all partners are obliged to stay the whole week.
